This is the most popular helicopter trip departing from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. It lasts about 25 to 30 minutes and takes you over the deepest section of the Canyon and through the Dragon Corridor.
From there you turn to the North Rim where you can see for yourself the vast geological and geographical differences between that side of the Canyon and the South.
On your return to the South Rim you will enjoy breathtaking vistas of the rock formations that the early explorers and surveyors called temples and shrines, while you soar above the widest part of the Colorado River.
The North Canyon helicopter trip departs the Grand Canyon airport approximately every half hour. Reservations are suggested as you may have a long wait if you arrive at the same time as one of the many tour buses that pass through the airport.
